Cover crop management group

This group are sponsored by AHDB, and are looking at alternative methods of terminating cover crops to reduce the use of glyphosate.

With the threat of a ban on glyphosate in 2018, it is more and more important to discover and understand alternative ways to terminate cover crops. Methods that are beneficial to profitability, soil structure, the environment and will not have the future threat of being banned. This group are particularly interested in zero/min tillage techniques.

The group is based in East Anglia and Berkshire/Oxfordshire, and open to farmers from other regions. Please contact the coordinator for further information.

Group Topic
