Rethinking Chicken: Dual Purpose Poultry in Action

Friday 9th January | Town Hall, Council Chamber

The field lab group and ethical chef Zoe Davis talk about their experiences sourcing, rearing and cooking dual purpose chicken breeds over the last year. Diverse, locally bred chickens were once used for both meat and egg production. As farms specialised so did the chickens. The group explore an alternative to specialised poultry systems and follow the dual purpose chicken from egg to plate. With Mike Mallett, Annie Rayner, Sam Packer and Zoe Davis.

Natural Treatments for Flystrike in Sheep
